Executive members of the Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation and its renown journal Biotropica, are currently collaborating with the GDRI team in the development of a new branding system for the association, and a brand extension for the journal.

The ATBC is an international body that promotes research, education, conservation, and communication of tropical biology. They¬†advance awareness within the public of the importance of these topics, while supporting the communication and cooperation among investigators, educators, environmental managers, and human communities in the tropics. Since its foundation in 1963, the ATBC and Biotropica have kept a visual system that currently doesn’t reflect the evolution, relevance, and diversity of the organization and journal, therefore the need to address the development of a brand identity that supports its steady growth.
